Haunting......

This ruin makes you feel slightly uncomfortable. Built for John Menzies in 1690, the grounds were later landscaped in the 18 C. by Sir John Clark.

If you visit in spring you might be lucky enough to see the resting place of the last occupant from the 50's known affectionately as the 'black widow'. Her unmarked grave is made visible by a ring of daffodils.
