Digging 40: Intercutting

Backblip

Ben, Mike and Leigh are digging these three graves at the moment. As luck would have it, the graves are all intercut, that is, the one on the right is the earliest and the one on the left is the latest. Mike started digging the middle one first, then discovered that he would have to leave the legs in until Ben finished excavating and recording the juvenile on the left.
It has slowed us down, and we have to be finished by Friday...I'm stressing out, so blipping and all other aspects of non-digging life are on the back burner at the moment...
This photograph was taken looking South. The right and middle skeletons are therefore the normal way round for mediaeval burials, head to the West, but the juvenile is back to front...unusual.
