Green Light
I needed to distract myself from something that's been overly occupying my thoughts this morning, so took advantage of the beautiful sunshine to have a wander around a part of the university that I've never been to before. It's an old graveyard that's surrounded by university buildings and has many beautiful, old headstones in a semi-overgrown landscape.
I took a few photos, then spotted this one headstone that had lichen growing on its surface and beautiful shafts of sunlight falling on its surface. After some faffing, I got this shot, which I really like.
I would normally convert to black and white but as the reason for taking this particularly photo was because I liked the colour on the headstone, I decided to keep it in colour.
It probably looks best large.
