Ananda Bazar, a fair of joy


Every year this evening (Mahalaya) the Visva Bharati University arrange a fair call 'Ananda Bazar' in the university campus for one evening. Major stalls run by the school student age 6to 18 years. The idea is to create an opportunity to sale the products made by them so that they can learn money handling. The products are mainly crafts, painting, sculptures foods, utility objects like painted calendar, mask, toy, hand fan etc. The student decorates the whole fair, make the product. This evening they seal it to the local public. The money they earn it goes to student's aid fund.
This is the process how they first learn to handle money along with so many fundamental things of life with joy.
