Anemone
I love the simplicity of Japanese anemones - and the fact that they're in their prime whan all around is heading towards decay. I photographed this flower in our garden, lit up by the late afternoon sun, which threw the background into deep shade. It's been a beautiful autumn day here, but with little time for photography, as I've spent most of my day out on a nature reserve cutting down willows - much better than a work-out at the gym! I shall certainly sleep well tonight.
