Working our way through the list

So a man called Jesse is in town since yesterday and already he has impressed me by his desire to get into Scottish life and culture. Another colleague who came to visit recently preferred to stay in the hotel for some reason and did some virtual touristy visit via Google's streetview.

'Hmm, you could have done that before you came,' I said 'and in any case going along the street in streetview is way too fast compared to Edinburgh traffic.'

So on our list, we have so far chalked off

1 Irn Bru
2 Lunch out of a chip shop
3 Organised a night to watch Scotland watching football in a pub

The list is still long for must do things.

A friend was over at the start of the year from Sweden, for four days there was not a cloud in the sky but snow on the hills. He went away with a very odd impression of Edinburgh and the climate here. With the temperature today reaching near summer levels, I have tried to convince J that it is just a show for visitors.
