Finally made it to the beach for a sunrise! Yea!!

Woke up at 5 and could not go back to sleep, so that worked out well.

The turtle nests are being washed away by the strong and high tides we are having. Hundreds of eggs on the beach, but also, quite a few nests are looking pretty solid, so that is nice. The loggerhead turtle has not had an easy time of it, that is for sure.

I took way too many photos, and took way too much time dealing with them and now I am totally blurry eyed. Sheesh, I forgot I had actual things to do today, but it seems like - as usual, and despite what I generally think will happen - things worked themselves out fine.

Well, ok...I'm in denial...but I'll get to those things tomorrow. (maybe)
