Kebab House Kaput!

This building is the work place of a friend on mine. He is now unemployed due to the earthquake damage to this building and the business being out of action. Today we could hear the diggers so went looking for the demolition, and sure enough, todays target was the Kabab House. It is in a sorry state, as are the finances of those who used to work there. Much uncertainty for those in an industry hit by many of the same sort of problems and all the workforce flooded with people with sudden unemployment and similar skills. Tough.
Today we moved into our rental accomodation due to our unsafe house, it has been a very hard working sort of a day and early to bed for us. Hard on the back thats for sure. Back breaking labour is very much in evidence. Tomorrow a new day and a new challenge...
