Ding Dong Merrily On High

Today in a public toilet I was serenaded by an old lady singing carols. She had perched herself on the bin for paper towels and was singing her heart out, very loudly. As I was selecting my cubicle (avoiding any with copious amounts of dodgy looking toilet paper on the floor) she asked me if I had any requests. I asked her for 'Ding Dong Merrily On High,' cruel I know, but I wanted to hear how she coped with the 'Gl...o...ria' bit. I have to say she coped admirably, no pause for breath and if anything getting louder and louder. Having put my paper towel in the bin, we parted company, wishing each other a very merry Christmas!
