After spending far too much money than's financially viable on a 12 year old car, and it still having a 'mystery' problem of cutting out, that the garage refused to believe existed, it took me five minutes researching on the interwebbery to discover "a common problem" amongst my model of car. Faulty fuel pump relay. £30 and 2 minutes to fit. Job done.

Now, call it outrageous optimism or mechanical naivety, but I reckon I may have fixed my car! Hurrah!

Obviously, I'm still driving with my fingers crossed for now.
