Human Chain

This poetry book was a birthday present from my friend C in September. Perhaps it could reflect my day today.

I was at a team building (human chain?) day with my youth worker colleagues in Dublin today. It was a bit of gas. We had to get photos of each other in different situations and collect various items. One group managed to come across Chrystal Swing and got a photo with them. We stopped a few lads from an Aussie Rules football team who had just arrived in Ireland. We also managed to get a free make-over and facial with some sample perfumes in exchange for a paper clip!

If you have ever heard of Nigella seeds....have you ever tried to buy them in Dublin? We failed that particular task, but others managed to find them in an Indian restaurant and begged them for a pinch.

Looking forward to a quiet weekend after that excitement.
