The Gronn

While exploring Luxembourg's art scene, i walk down to Luxembourg City's 'Gronn' which can be translated as the city's valley or basement. Luxembourg City consists of two levels: The main part of the city is located 'on top', on a 'plateau' on the hill while this small part of town is located on the bottom of the valley. The two levels are even connected with a lift embedded in the rock. The area in the 'Gronn' consists of traditional, more old style housing and now hosts a number of museums, pubs and restaurants and hosts several art events as well as the annual Blues&Jazz Rallye. Definitely my favourite area in town.
