Cup cakes - pretty in pink!

Funny how the old retro things come back around again. Never thought I'd see cup cakes for sale again in my life time, especially displayed on the old fashioned three tier cake stand.

These ones were $3 50 which seems to me quite a lot of money for a couple of mouthfuls no matter how beautiful. I know the decorating is the thing, and they certainly are very pretty, but you can't taste decorating! And to me the taste is what counts.

And do many people have time for the old fashioned morning or afternoon tea?

Nowdays it seems to be all gobble and go!
