Men at work

Went up to town to meet Dave and The Young Archaeologists for a pint at the end of the dig. Except it wasn't quite the end; this shot was taken a good half-an-hour after they were supposed to have finished work and gone to the pub. Ben and Dave diligently continued scratching away in order to raise the two skulls (the skull of the child who was with them had already been lifted). The couple were buried holding hands.....

Eventually everyone made it to the pub. Later we went down to the Cask and Barrel with Ross for more beer and football. The beer was excellent. I took a few shots inside a very crowded C & B but everyone was looking so tense I decided to go for a more cheerful blip. ;-)
