Rain, Rain, Go Away...

It poured with rain all day again today. However we made the most of it by heading out the Uresanke Chando Research Centre to be taught the art of tea ceremony!
It's harder than it looks and unfortunately I was not a huge fan of the tea itself (of the tea sweet), but despite that it was a rewarding experience and the ladies that gave us the demonstration and lesson were absolutely lovely.

Sadly, photography was not allowed, so no tea ceremony snaps were to be had. Instead, here is Dom standing on our street, next to a group of these typically Japanese style bikes (that are ridden by everyone, everywhere) and looking exasperated by the grim weather!
