The Aftermath

Finally a glimpse of sun afer non-stop rains. The incessant rain has stopped today. However, it has left its toll. Low lying areas were flooded. Most seriously, the second larget river which runs through the heart of the city run over the danger zone. This is one of the weak spots resembling the Dykes of Holland. People are anxious less it might give way to the massive voume of running waters or the waters might overflow.

If the rain continues again .... then it might be another story. All are keeping their fingers crossed.
