Surfs Up!

Today seemed like the first day of the winter, with a cold easterly wind coming in off the North Sea. We set off for a bracing walk along the beach where we came across a group of hardy boys kitesurfing like there was no tomorrow.

They were all great about having a picture taken - so here's one.

It did strike us that these guys were doing their stuff less than five miles from the centre of the city - now there can't be many places where you can do that.

Other than that we have kept our promises and done nothing - so it's time for a G&T, some pasta and a dvd.
