Delamere ....

Just down the road a bit is Delamere Forrest. A wonderful place filled with trails and hollows to explore. Its changed so much from when I was a child. My father took us there most weekends and it seemed then that it was a place just for us as we never saw a soul, well hardly ever.

Now its full to the brim of people walking their dogs or mountain bike riders. We had a bimble around and looked for some chestnuts. Plenty of them have fallen but not mature enough to eat yet.

The children were looking for mushrooms and we nearly missed these. Little man was so please to have found them, thats my blip he said.

Then the obligatory ice cream and home for tea. Lovely day, lots of fresh air and a sunny dry one too.
