wild beach

I love days like this at the beach, where it's all wild and the sea is rough and scary. I had planned on taking the girls to the actual beach and doing some sculpture type thing and a bit of beach combing, but the tide was in so far that there was no beach to comb...
so we walked, and roller-skated along the promenade, watched the huge waves and got sprayed with salty water. we could have stayed there for ages, but the inversnecky was calling so we went there for ice-cream and tea. I'd spend a LOT more time at the beach if I could...when I win the lottery I will buy a house on a beach somewhere.
