Hi Mum :)

After a full day of weeding I needed to straighten out my back so we went for a walk down the road........

Spotted mum here lying down on the hillside groaning a bit and there appeared to be a couple of wee legs protruding from her rear end. We continued to walk when it seemed that maybe our presence was stressing her and within seconds of walking off she made a couple of very load groans.......

When we returned past the same way about 15 minutes later there he was :) A new wee calf being tenderly cleaned by mum :)

This was quite probably his very first attempt to stand up - with a gently nudge in the right direction from mum.

What a very cool day!
