Congratulations to Tang & Mote!

Today it began to rain as we were getting ready for the wedding. By the time it was time to go, the storm had moved right over our heads, with thunder shaking our building, and rain pounding the roof. The taxi was only a few feet from the building, but even with an umbrella, somehow we got soaked just getting in. It was fun though and luckily the rain stopped (except for a few sprinkles) for the wedding.

The bride was beautiful. Most people were dressed in beautiful Thai silk skirts or shirts. A lot of the ceremony occurred with the bride and groom sitting on the ground, so I couldn't see as well as I hoped. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious Thai meal and took many pictures.

I don't know if it is traditionally Thai or not, but the bride stood backwards and threw her bouquets for a group of laughing single ladies with their hands in the air trying to catch it. So fun!
