The Last of the Geraniums

The season draws to a close. There are lots of these chaps in pots and window boxes that I must rescue and put into the greenhouse.

This winter I will heat the greenhouse - during the last one I lost all the geraniums and most of the fuscias. A taxi driver told me that we are in for another harsh winter. I always pay attention to taxi drivers.

It was nice to come home from a long hard Sunday shift in a very busy department and be able to walk in the garden in the sunshine.
