Straight from the Med

...I am of course talking about the weather, which was cracking the flags in the Solent this afternoon...

...There was force 6 expected, and it wasn't far off that...but the tides were favourable and it was toasty...so we took the opportunity to go and take a few pics of Le Grand Bleu, which was sat just north of the island...

...they were only using one of their ribs, rather than the onboard sailing yacht or motor cruiser...presumably as they too expected windy weather.

It was a tough decision whether to post this pic or go with a picture of the RNLI rib heading out past Hurst Spit and The Needles...the sunlight flooding down and shadow behind made it look like they were powered by moonlight...

...in the end I thought I ought to take the opportunity to post a blue sky picture while I still can!
