10.10.10 Lebkuchen from Nuremberg

I couldn't resist putting in the date today. I did note the clock at 10.10 am precisely.

Lebkuchen brought back from my recent trip. A traditional German biscuit, a type of gingerbread, usually produced at Christmas. Some have almonds and sugar coating, others a chocolate topping. It is Nuremberg's most famous export, along with pencils and Playmobil. You can probably buy it in Lidl, but this is the real thing.

I have now posted backblips from my recent visit to Germany - they start here.

More information on Lebkuchen here.
