Shadows Reflections

Sometimes shadows and reflections are more interesting than the things they're attached to (or to which they are attached, as the English teacher would have us say).

Or perhaps not. Should we pay attention to shadows and reflections? Should we reflect upon them? Do they cast a shadow of doubt?
