a "10" day!

Ok so it's 10/10/10 but today really was a "10" - you can tell just by looking at our dog's face ;-)

We had a great day today - took a hike up at Henry Cowell State Park deep into the Redwoods. We took the dog as they have some trails where dogs are allowed - that was a real treat for her :)

I took many shots in the forest but none of them struck me as particularly interesting - the light streaming through the trees was harsh, blowing out most of my photos.

After our hike we stopped at one of our favorite local restaurants for a late lunch - they have outdoor seating so we could bring our dog along - boy did she love that.

The weather couldn't have been nicer and ending the hike with a great meal outside in the sunshine was splendid. In the end this shot of our dog captured the feeling of the day best - so that is my blip :)
