Beall Center 10.10.10 Celebration

Today, October 10, 2010 was the Beall Center for Art + Technology's 10th anniversary. It was very fun and full of events, including an art performance called 10.10.10 x 10 where this art team attempted to do 10 art pieces at 10 minutes each all around the Arts Plaza and they accomplished it (with a little cheating).

This exhibit is called "Pulse" by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer and in this art piece, you hold your hands on these two bars which measure your pulse. This pulse is then reflected by the pulsing of the lightbulbs and then all the lightbulbs in the room light up with other peoples' pulses that had gone before you. It's very neat.
