Public outing....

This is one of teh two pukeko chicks I've been keeping a watchful eye on for a few weeks - the first time I've seen them out in the open :)

Mr and Mrs Pukeko were still pacing around them though, and one of them even made a long distance lunge towards me when s/he thought I was getting a bit too close!

Not the best of shots but I like it anyway! These guys are just so cute :)
