The Squiggly Bridge - Glasgow
The Tradeston Bridge, dubbed the "Squiggly" bridge runs over the River Clyde in Glasgow. It has been dubbed the "squiggly bridge" because of its unusual design, just as the Clyde Arc further down river near the SECC was nicknamed the "squinty bridge".
I thought I would do a little research into the bridge for my blip and discovered it was designed by Scandinavian architects Dissing and Weitling. The double curve is intended to create a wave-like structur
I have seen a few pictures online of this bridge and on bill boards, but today as part of my lunch hour, I thought I would give it a try? I like the outcome, hope you do too.
