Whole wheat penne with brussels sprouts

These sprouts did not end up in the pasta accidently, I delibaretly put them there. I was never a fan of these sprouts, untill my boyfriend showed me the best way to cook them, resulting in little moist lovely balls with an subtle nutty flavour. Delicously complemted with fresh basil and Parmesan shavings in this dish.
