in our lifetime.

I spent the day cheering for a friend
who was running her first marathon:
The Chicago Marathon.

It was ridiculously hot for October,
but all the runners did a fantastic job!!
It was an amazing experience being present,
and I'm sure it was even more amazing
for those who ran the route.
I'm so glad I went. :)

(Had today not been the marathon,
this super cool eyeball sculpture
would have been my blip.)
