Morgan's first jump....

into the Atlantic ocean!

Today Morgan and I drove up the east coast of Cape Breton Island, to Ingonish.
We had such a great day, stopping every time Morgan saw another breathtaking view....my driving skills had to be pretty sharp!

Then we arrived onto the amazing beach at Ingonish, it was sunny, but a bit chilly, with some intermittent rain. But still, undaunted by the October weather, my wonderful adventurous daughter decided to take off her socks and shoes and head for her first dip into the Atlantic ocean. Pretty soon we were having a hysterical time as waves crashed and splashed against her, she got totally soaked! Being the persistent photographer that I am, I kept asking her to jump again and again....i need that perfect shot! she was pretty wet and cold by the time we headed out....but she said it was all worth it cos not only did we get a fabulous blip, but she got to experience the ocean!

After a delicious lunch we headed for another beach, but by this time it was raining pretty hard - so we didn't hang around there too long.

Today was one of those wonderful days, experiencing this glorious place with my daughter, it was just amazing to watch her enjoy the beauty of Cape Breton.
