Brace Yourselves

Not from today's newspaper, but from one a few days ago that was lying around work... the front page caught my attention.

Apparently a La Nina has occurred this year. It's when the equator is cooler than normal, and that has a knock on effect further north. Despite the headline on the front page, the article then goes on to state there is a chance it won't be that bad a winter at all.  

Scaremongering?

Incidentally it was a beautiful sunny day today.
