Warratah

A flowering tree native of New South Wales, Australia and growing in my parent's front yard. It does well to survive as the previous owners sited this poorly, plonking it fair in the path of the prevailing westerly winds. Still, the hammered blooms suited my purposes with a macro lensbaby.

Trips north are always long and tiring days. Mum and Dad are doing ok. It's good to see them. Tomorrow I start on some tasks they'd like a hand with. The gathering clouds and increasing wind speed are soon to be joined by rain. A good day for inside jobs.
