Aegean Paradise #1

This had to be a "travelling shot". After a taxi, plane, [overnight in airport], plane, taxi, boat (this shot), and taxi, all 9 of us arrived in the climbing mecca of Massouri. A small village on the island of Kalymnos, it punches above its weight when it comes to bolted limestone. We are all drawn by the prospect of this golden rock, from Scotland and England.

We arrived after 19 hours of travelling, and made a bee-line for the crags- disregarding the largely sleepness night that we had endured. It was worth it, to get the fingers on some rock, and to work out the stiffness of sitting travelling. After, we headed back to the appartment (basic, but with everything a climber needs) to freshen up for a meal out.

Everyone we meet seems super-friendly, over-eager (almost) to help or please. Did the plane take me on a journey to Greece, as I thought, or have I really stepped into a new Utopia?
