Most of today was spent in Edinburgh looking for a birthday present for Nick. It was SO busy, it almost felt as if it were the week before Christmas. After much deliberation I found something which I hope he will like and returned home with aching feet and just the hint of a headache. I found solace looking through some of my flea market finds from Paris. I loved the handwriting in this letter which commemorates the confirmation of a young woman.
