Arms full of puppies!

Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who viewed or commented on my 500th blip yesterday! What a surprise to see how many there were - many thanks!

Today we had a four hour electricity power cut while maintenance was carried out on the line. As we are totally electric I nipped next door, where they have gas, for a coffee and a cuddle of the poodle puppies! There were 10 of them, two litters of five, this is the younger bunch; they are five weeks old and ever so adorable.

Ollie hasn't met them yet as he is a bit too bouncy! He is having a bit of trouble adjusting to living with us again and can't believe he has to eat dog food rather than whatever we are eating! He has been really and truly spoilt by his kind dog sitters - we saw them today and they were nearly in tears, they are missing him so much!

I made up for the power cut by spending this afternoon baking and cooking. While we were away we gathered apples and were given brambles and black currants, so tonight we had a lovely stewed fruit and custard pudding. Amazing colours - but you've got poodles instead!
