Horse-chestnut Tree

I have watched this tree grow for the last thirty two years. It had been burned by someone having a bonfire near it. When I moved into the house a tree surgeon came to look at it and said I would be luck if it lives as so much bark had been destroyed.
Here it stands proudly at the bottom of my garden, looking magnificent whichever season we are in.
