Mills no. 2 - Cavendish Mill

Cavendish Mill was built in 1884 and is a former (spinning and weaving) cotton mill. After closing in 1934, the building were used for other purposes, but then stood empty for many years until it was purchased and renovated in the 1990s.

It is now owned by a housing association and it is divided into rental apartments. The scaffolding used to replace the old windows is currently being removed. The latest addition of the new windows, has improved the building's look tremendously.

It's wonderful architecture has been saved for another couple of generations at least.
