ex Hard Rock Cafe, Dubai

People who have been in Dubai more than a few years invariably will regale you with the same old story of how the Hard Rock Cafe was a long drive into the desert from Dubai. Now, it has been overtaken by the Marina and all the developments in Jebel Ali. Sadly, it closed down a couple of years ago due to problems with getting a liquor licence once the hotel it was associated with closed down. I used to like going there and was glad to hear that it is due to re-open soon (albeit relocated across town to Festival City).
