After dark
Really struggled to find a blip tonight - due to the fact that I didn't go out at lunchtime, instead staying at my desk trying to catch up before we go on holiday (you do pay before you go and again when you come back!)
All of a sudden it was pitch black outside and with an hour to drive home, I didn't feel much like stopping off to take pictures. I did try a shot of the moon from the car park but all I got was a blob of light in inky darkness - the iphone camera is not up to space pics!
Got home & took a photo of my tea (delicious pasta with fish in a white sauce), bit dull for a blip though. Gary then had the idea of trying to take a night time picture of mushrooms in the garden - he did mow them down at the weekend but they're back!
Which is how i found myself out in the garden at 10 pm in the darkness - not sure where the moon disappeared to. I eventually found the mushrooms & took several photos but none of them were good enough. Gave up and decided to take a few of the fuschia by the back door and then as an afterthought, took one of the white geranium next to it.
And what do you know, my afterthought photo was the only one good enough to blip - I like the white flower shining in the darkness. But tomorrow, I must try and take some photos in daylight - I'm working from home so will have to force myself out for a walk round the village.
