I've been here before...
But that was at another unit.
Now both the steam- and gasturbine of unit EC4 have been coupled after they have been aligned.
The alignment has to be done very carefully otherwise vibrations are likely to occur. Vibrations might cause serious trouble to the bearings.

Your'e looking at the intermediate shaft between steam- and gasturbine.
The big thing at the left is the coupling of the steamturbine.
At the right is the coupling with the gasturbine.
The ribbed part is used for the pickup that registrates the speed of the shaft.
Normally this place is completely closed-up and cannot be accessed.
