Sycamore Gap

When I looked across the hills to Hadrians Wall this morning there looked to be nice mists still lying there at 9am, but by the time I got there it was just grey with light drizzle. It was lovely & peaceful though, I only saw one other person until I returned to the car park at Steel Rigg where a large party of school children were setting off up the crag, most of them in trainers - not something I'd have signed a permission slip for (but I do have a phobia of edges).
