Instead of buying the wife flowers for her birthday like I typically do, I decided to buy her mum's instead. We usually buy some and put them out on our front porch every fall for the punch of color they provide. Our local nursery had a buy 2 get 1 free deal, so these massive babies ended up costing significantly less than what any single flower arrangement would. Score!
