Out of my comfort zone - expelled from the hills at Fendeille, and onto the A61, heading north to Toulouse and the largest university campus in France....
Here I am not only a novice, my whole situation is precaire. There is a dispute in the finance office of this great scientific metropolis - they are not interested in qualifications or my aptitude to teach: what keeps me off their payroll, is my dubious statut....
I have no keys, bar the one to this room - S5P9 - a prefab with good quality soft furnishings and a highly developed sense of interior design.
