london blip #3: art shop

while wandering round islington today looking for a second hand furniture shop (that we never found) we came across an ace art supply shop...three floors full of great things that we all wanted. all five of us bought pads of paper, pens, pencils and paintbrushes. I wish aberdeen had a shop like this - I'll just have to put orders in with my brother when we run out. there are some lovely wee independent shops in islington - I neeeeeed one!

so today was our last day in london...shame we didn't find that shop, but it was probably a good thing as B predicted that I would fall in love with something cast-iron that would have to be transported to aberdeenshire.

we've all had a great time though as we always do here - it's so busy, noisy and a bit smelly but there's so much to see and do, such a great place to visit. back on the train tomorrow morning, home to see my wee ginger boy.
