St George's Church

This evening I was in town for the annual volunteer fair - lots of worthy causes vying for volunteer time.

I was particularly impressed with a young lady called Ashley, who told me about SOS Children's Villages. Ashley was eloquent, bright, enthusiastic and sincere. The cause seems particularly worthy; a charity which sets out to recreate a family for orphaned children. It was inspiring to see a new graduate, just starting a full time job, but with time to donate for the benefit of people she may never meet. I was impressed.

As I was heading to the Assembly Rooms I blipped the former St George's Church, silhouetted against a beautiful sky.
