Night blipping
I had no photo again today - straight from work to my photography course, so no time to take one.
(And, no, ironically we do not take photos on my photography course... at least we dont yet (and I hope it is 'yet')
But I stopped in town on my way through because the clock tower by the canal basin looks so good at night and I thought I'd see if I could get a decent pic.
I photographed it at dusk back in July, one of the first photos with my new camera. And more by luck than judgement, I got fairly nice pic using the night setting on the camera.
But now I'm shooting on manual and it was properly dark, so I was curious as to what I would get. I actually didnt think I'd get anything at all it was so dark, but I'm fairly pleased with this. I also didnt hang around long enough to get lots of shots and experiment more - dark, quiet and late, on my own by a canal basin didnt feel too sensible to be honest...
But for my first night shoot on manual I don't think it's too bad...
