Rainbow Line

A beautiful fall day today. Saw a Monarch butterfly on my way to the train - shouldn't he be in Mexico by now? And there are still some plovers on the beach.

The platform in the subway station was brilliantly lit and made a a fabulous iridescent reflection on the wall map. As luck would have it, I had a polarizing filter with me which enhanced the rainbow effect beautifully (I was impressed by how well this worked).

Tonight I cooked celery root for the first time - just mashed it up with little butter - awesome.
