South Korea Reunification Park

A retired warship of South Korea at the Reunification Park in Gangdong-myeon, Gangwon pronvince. The park was built between 1997 and 2001, right after a submarine of North Korea infiltrated this exact site on September 18, 1996. This was one of the activities of the class field trip I took with my middle schoolers. Unfortunately some of them were too tired to even get off the bus to see the historic monument! (Also at this site is the submarine that was captured by the retired warship)
